FeeldWorld DC

The fact had been eating at me: as we began to emerge from the pandemic, I witnessed a loneliness and a hunger for human connection. I wasn’t alone in this, of course. Time had marched on, the world had turned sideways, but our collective need to reach across the chasm burned hot. For months, I stewed on how to help my community find this lost intimacy, and create an intentional IRL space where this could happen.

In October of 2022, I pitched a Washington D.C.-based immersive event to Feeld, an international dating app, and was hired on as the Creative Producer.

Within a few short weeks, we produced what became FeeldWorld DC: a one-night, human-sized-board game event hosted at the Line Hotel. Hundreds of folks came through looking for connections in all ways, shapes, and forms, and managed to make a party about it along the way.

You can read more about the event here, featured in the February 2023 issue of District Fray. All photos courtesy of my friend, Rebekah Barlas (hire her!).
