One of my favorite projects: a narrative deep dive into the history of the American sideshow.

The task? To reanimate the people at the center of sideshow history, whose own stories were so often lost or intentionally hidden.

Together, we travel across the world and across time to understand the threads that wove this institution into existence… and the legacy that it’s left behind for all of us today.

This show was directed and researched in collaboration with my colleagues, Taylor Hagerdorn and Sam Alberty. It was written by me, and narrated by Aaron Mahnke.
